EMSB Governance Promises Full Cooperation to Ministry of Education Auditor

English Montreal School Board Chairman Angela Mancini wishes to state that Ministry of Education auditor Mme Michelle Lapointe will have the full cooperation of governance and management. “We have only just learned about the government’s intentions,” said Ms. Mancini. “While this has caught us completely by surprise, I have asked administration to make sure the auditor has access to any information she deems necessary to complete her work.”

Ms. Mancini says that senior members of the directorate had a conference call with Ministry of Education representatives this morning. “This intervention by the Ministry will allow us to review our processes and implement the most current best practices,” said Ms. Mancini.
